Bhubaneswar: Plus II (higher secondary schools) and Plus III colleges existing on the same campus will be gradually bifurcated, informed Higher Education Minister Suryabanshi Suraj.
The existence of higher secondary schools on the same campus is impacting the standard of Plus III education, Suraj added.
This was informed by Suraj while speaking to media persons on the occasion of his visit to Malkangiri for Independence Day celebrations.
Suraj said that although this was decided by the previous government, it has not been implemented. Mohan Majhi’s government will provide the necessary land and infrastructure for this, he added.
The 78th Independence Day was celebrated in Malkangari district with pomp and gaiety.
Suraj hoisted the national flag as the chief guest at Malkangiri’s DNK field.
