Bhubaneswar: The State government will build a beautiful park in the memory of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay in Bhubaneswar.
The park will named after him and a life-size statue will be installed in the park, announced Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi while participating in his 109th state-level birth anniversary celebration at Jayadev Bhavan.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay has contributed the most to the spread of Indian cultural and ideas and unique economic ideas. As a fundamental thinker, he has contributed a lot to the country. But he has not been given the due respect he deserves. Today, the time has come to pay due respect and dignity to a fundamental thinker like him, the CM said.
Panditji is the promoter of Integral Humanism. Apart from Communism and Capitalism, Pandit Deendayal presented humanism in a different way of thinking, the CM said.
“We have accepted the philosophy of non-dualism as the basic principle of politics. We have been working on the matter of conscience. Pandit Dindayal’s practical life was based on intuition. Inspired by his ideologies, our beloved Prime Minister Narendra Modi aims for inclusive development through ‘Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas. Our government has continued programs to bring people from the lowest strata of society to the fore, Majhi said.
Law Minister Prithviraj Harichandan who attended the program as one of the guests, said that Pandit Upadhyay was a unique politician and prominent philosopher of India. He started a new philosophy in the country, the minister added.
