Puri: The Odisha government to develop Puri into a world-class pilgrimage centre.
“We will develop Puri City into a world-class city. Puri city has been neglected for a long time which we all will admit. This government is committed to the residents of this city and the international community to do all that is needed to develop this city into a world-class pilgrimage centre,” announced Law Minister Prithviraj Harichandan while speaking to reporters today.
Harichandan was here to attend the 2nd Coordination Meeting for Rath Yatra 2024.
He said that to ensure that the rituals are completed on time, the Rath Yatra is smooth and glitch-free, and devotees get a chance to pull the chariots on Sri Gundicha, we should be prepared to accept certain tough decisions.
