Puri: Odisha’s Law Minister Prithiviraj Harichandan said that the state government is mulling offering Lord Jagannath’s Mahaprasad for free to the devotees after they have darshan of the Holy Trinity at Srimandir.
The minister, however, did not clarify when the free Mahaprasad will be provided to the devotees.
Harichandan further said that a Bhyakhyana Kendra (Interpretation Centre) will be set up in Puri where information will be provided about various rituals of the Jagannath Temple. It will promote the Jagannath culture among the devotees.
“Discussion in this regard is currently underway. A blueprint will be prepared very soon,” the minister said.
Earlier, reports said that AI (Artificial Intelligence) will be deployed for crowd control in Puri Jagannath Temple. There will be 14 cameras inside and outside the temple premises.
