Cuttack: School & Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash on Wednesday declared the result of the Annual High School Certificate (HSC) examination conducted by the Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha.
Out of 5,26,818 students who had appeared for the examination, 5,17,847 have passed and 8699 failed. The overall pass percentage is 90.55.
Among the pass out students, 2,56,877 are boys with a percentage of 88.77 and 2,60,970 are girls with a percentage of 92.37, added the Minister.
A total of 8,119 students secured A1 grade and 54,889 got A2. Two schools in Malkangiri district and one in Angul recorded zero results, said Dash.
Students who are not satisfied with their marks can apply for rechecking. Online applications will be invited for rechecking from July 11 to 25, he added.
