Bhubaneswar: Miniature artist L Eswar Rao of Jatni in Khordha district has wished a very happy new year to all by carving ‘Happy New Year 2023’ on an 8-inch long pencil lead.
Rao has claimed that it took him two days to carve the message on the pencil lead. He has prayed to Lord Jagannatha to bless all for the new year.
With the distinction of sculpting a series of miniature art and sculptures, Rao has been practicing the art form for over 20 years.
His unique works include stone crafts in bottles, soap carving, wood carving, coal carving, stone carving, and tamarind seeds carving.
