Odisha: Over 2.54 Lakh Urban Slum Dwellers Granted Land Right Certificates Under Jaga Mission

Bhubaneswar: As many as 2,54,672 slum dwellers have been granted Grant of Land Rights (Land Right Certificates and Land Entitlement Certificates) till date in urban areas in Odisha under the Jaga Mission.

In a written reply to a question by BJD MLA from Jaleswar Aswini Kumar Patra, Housing & Urban Development (H&UD) Minister Krushna Chandra Mahapatra said in the Odisha Assembly that Grant of Land Rights (Land Right Certificates and Land Entitlement Certificates)  to 2,54,672 slum dwellers in urban areas of the State have been approved.

Process is underway to grant Land Entitlement Certificates to the remaining eligible slum dwellers, Mahapatra added.
