Odisha Police Deploys Senior IPS Officers For Puri, Paradip Festivals

Bhubaneswar: Ahead of the Kartik Purnima festival in Puri and the Boita Bandana Utsav and Bali Yatra in Paradip of Jagatsinghpur district, the Odisha Police has deployed senior IPS officers to oversee security arrangements.

The order, issued with the approval of Odisha Director General of Police (DGP) Yogesh Bahadur Khurania, emphasises coordinated security measures to ensure the safety of devotees and visitors during these major cultural events.

According to an official statement from Odisha Police Headquarters, Cuttack, ADGP (Modernisation) Soumendra Kumar Priyadarshi will be in overall charge of policing in Puri during the Kartik Purnima celebrations.

In Paradip, Jagatsinghpur, DIG Cuttack Range Satyajit Naik will supervise security arrangements for the Boita Bandana Utsav and Bali Yatra festivities.
