Odisha Posts Around 100% Growth In GST Collection

Bhubaneswar: Odisha has recorded around 100% growth in GST to be retained by the state during the month of November 2023 as compared to November 22.

The GST to be retained by the state for the month of November 2023 till 29th November is Rs 2, 778 crore as against Rs 1,390 crores during November 2022.

The State had recorded the fourth highest ever collection of Net GST (OGST + IGST Settlement) with a collection of Rs. 1853.98 cr during October 2023.

The monthly average tax collection (OGST + IGST Settlement) up to the month of October 2023 was Rs 1744.30 cr against an average tax collection of Rs. 1475.61 Cr upto October 2022 with a growth rate of 18.21%.

Out of the above, the OGST collection during October ‘23 is recorded at Rs 1306.47 Cr against the collection of Rs. 1058.38 Cr during October 2022 with growth rate of 23.43%.
