Bhubaneswar: In the aftermath of the successful Utkarsh Odisha: Make In Odisha Conclave, Odisha has garnered significant investment interest, with Gujarat’s Fanidhar Group expressing its intent to invest in the State. The group aims to establish a food processing unit accompanied by cold storage facilities in Odisha.
Group Chairman Krunal Patel and President Dr. Bibhu Prasad Swain met with Deputy Chief Minister KV Singh Deo to discuss the investment proposal. The State government has implemented an investor-friendly policy to facilitate the setup of agricultural enterprises, offering subsidies and other incentives through various schemes. Fanidhar Group will also be eligible for benefits under the Mukhyamantri Krushi Udyog Yojana (MKUY).
As a renowned agricultural company in Gujarat, Fanidhar Group operates a mega food park in Mehsana (Gujarat) and plans to establish a similar park in Odisha in the future. During their visit, the company’s Chairman and President discussed with the Principal Secretary, Agriculture and Farmers Empowerment Department, Dr. Arabinda Kumar Padhee, and Director of Horticulture, Nikhil Pawan Kalyan, to explore Odisha’s schemes and systems.
