Bhubaneswar: The mercury level continues to rise further in Odisha with four towns recording over 45 degrees C temperature on Wednesday.
Bolangir emerged as the hottest place at 46.3 degrees C followed by Sonepur which saw 46.2 degrees C.
Titilagarh and Jharsuguda sizzled at 46 degrees C each.
The places recorded over 45 degrees C are Samablpur (45.6), Boudh (45.3), Hirakud (45.1).
The intense heat wave in the Interior parts of Odisha and extreme humid condition in coastal region put life into disarray.
