Odisha Sees 60% Voter Turnout Till 5 Pm, Less Than 2019 Polls

Bhubaneswar: Vote percentage this time has decreased in comparison to 2019 general elections.

Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Nikunj Bihari Dhal said that voting by 5 pm in the 2024 elections in Odisha has decreased compared to the last 2019 election.

The poll percentage in the third phase of election is 60 percent by 5 pm on Saturday. Dhal said polling has increased by 10 to 12 percent between 3 pm and 5 pm. Detailed report will come out tomorrow, he added.

Sambalpur: 65.91 percent in 2024 and 76.35 percent in 2019

Keonjhar : 62.43 percent in 2024 was 77.37 percent in 2019

Dhenkanal: 60.80 percent in 2024 and 74.80 percent in 2019

Cuttack: 54.36 percent in 2024 and 69.06 percent in 2019

Puri: 61.96 percent in 2024 and 72.51 percent in 2019

Bhubaneswar: 53.54 percent in 2024 and 59 percent in 2019
