Bhubaneswar: There has been a downtrend in the daily caseload in Odisha, said Health Services Director Bijay Mohapatra on Friday.
He, however, said that though there has been a downtrend, it will take four to five more days to see if the cases peak or plateau.
There has been an increase in the positivity rate due to the detection of more cases. It indicates that the surveillance and testing system are good.
More detection of positive cases will lead to their isolation and help in preventing the transmission.
