Bhubaneswar: Odia art and culture are set to shine on the Kartavya Path in Delhi on Republic Day, January 26.
Odisha’s tableau will showcase the theme “Viksit Bharat, Viksit Odisha”, highlighting the state’s rich cultural heritage, including the iconic Konark Sun Temple, its intricate paintings, and famous Silver filigree work.
The tableau will feature Odisha’s popular folk dance form, Chaiti Ghoda Nacha, along with craftsmen demonstrating stone-carving and the weaving of Pipili applique and Sabai grass baskets on the tableau.
The tableau will also feature a chariot symbolizing developed India, accompanied by the energetic Chaiti Ghoda nacha.
Additionally, Operation Sindoor, India’s strategic response to Pakistan’s aggression, will be showcased, demonstrating India’s military prowess.
The 77th Republic Day Parade will also honor distinguished guests, including European Council President Antonio Costa and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen
