Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik announced on Wednesday that the state government will pay a monthly honorarium of Rs 25,000 to each Padma awardee from the state.
The amount will be given every month with effect from April this year.
The decision is an acknowledgment of their significant contributions towards society, an official release of the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) said.
