Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government will provide free bus services for candidates appearing in the NEET UG 2026 re-examination scheduled for June 21 (Sunday), the State Transport Authority (STA), Odisha, said on Tuesday.
Following the instructions of Commerce and Transport Minister Bibhuti Bhusan Jena, a review meeting was held on Tuesday with all Regional Transport Officers (RTOs) to ensure proper coordination and effective management of transport arrangements.
According to officials, free bus services will be made available from major bus stands and railway stations across the state to designated examination centres, ensuring convenient and timely transportation for all candidates.
The Transport Department has directed officials to ensure proper management and adequate deployment of buses for the smooth conduct of the service on the examination day.
