Odisha Vigilance SP Anupama James Posted NIA SP On Central Deputation

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Cadre IPS officer Anupama James has been appointed as the Superintendent of Police (SP) at the National Investigation Agency (NIA) on central deputation.

The 2013 batch officer is currently serving as the SP in the Odisha Vigilance Department.

A notification issued by the Odisha Home Department stated “The services of Ms. Anupama James, IPS (OD: 2013) at present SP, Vigilance, Odisha are placed at the disposal of the Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs for her appointment as Superintendent of Police in National Investigation Agency (NIA) on deputation basis.”

The notification further stated that she has been relieved of her current duties to take on this new role at the Centre.
