Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Vigilance Department conducted simultaneous raids on eight locations in Bhubaneswar, Kalahandi, and Nabarangapur districts, uncovering substantial assets linked to Dayanidhi Bagh, Joint Director in the Office of the Director, Soil Conservation and Watershed Development Department.
The raids were conducted due to allegations of disproportionate assets.
During house searches so far, the following assets have been unearthed in the name of Bagh and his family members:
- One 3-BHK Flat with an area of 1450 Sqft. located at Flat No.1-D, Mahanadi Apartment, Gothapatana, Bhubaneswar.
- One building (under construction) with an area of 3000 sqft. at Padalguda near Majhiguda Chhaka, Nabarangpur Town, Dist. Nabarangpur.
- One building located at Housing Board Colony, Chandrasekharpur, Bhubaneswar.
- One Shopping Complex comprising 5 shops with an area of 1400 Sqft. near Nabarangpur Town.
- One farmhouse spread over 40 Acres at Bijraguda, Nabarangpur, with a drip irrigation facility with an investment of approx Rs 1 Crore.
- Another farmhouse spread over 6 Acres at Phatakote, Nabarangpur, with a drip irrigation facility, with an investment of approx Rs 34 lakh
- 11 Acres of land on the outskirts of Bhabanipatna town.
- Bank deposits Rs 55 lakhs.
- Other deposits, investments are being ascertained.
- 1 four-wheeler (Brezza) benami car which is under verification.
The measurement and valuation of the assets are being carried out by the Vigilance Technical Wing. Further investigation is underway, and more details will be revealed once the search operations are completed.
