Bhubaneswar: The State witnessed a sudden surge in cases of Covid-19 with 1216 new positive cases detected in Odisha in the last 24 hours, as reported by the Information & Public Relations Department on Wednesday.
Among the total cases, 187 are below 18 years. 710 are in quarantine and 506 are local contacts. With 68,878 samples tested in the last 24 hours the Test Positivity Rate (TPR) stands at 1.76%.
