Odisha’s Growth Rate Projected At 7.2% For 2024-25, Outpaces National Average

Bhubaneswar: As per the advance estimates for the financial year 2024-25, Odisha’s growth rate is projected to be 7.2% at constant (2011-12) prices, compared to the national economic growth rate estimate of 6.4%, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi informed the Odisha Assembly on Thursday.

Responding to a query from Rajanagar BJD MLA Dhruba Charan Sahu, Chief Minister Majhi stated that, according to data from the financial year 2023-24, Odisha ranked fourth in terms of growth rate among 17 major states.
