Bhubaneswar: Office bearers and representatives of around 14 organisations today met Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and 5T & Nabin Odisha Chairman Kartik Pandian at the former’s residence, Naveen Niwas.
The visitors included office bearers and representatives of Meher Samaj, Agharia Samaj, Kulta Samaj, Santha Kabi Bhima Bhoi Trust, Unit IV Masjid Committee, priests of Shree Baldevjew Temple of Kendrapara among others.
They discussed matters about their organisations with the Chief Minister and 5T Chairman. They expressed their gratitude and thanked the Chief Minister and 5T Chairman for the cooperation and assistance extended to their organisations.
It may be mentioned here that the concerned office bearers had earlier met Pandian and apprised him about the problems of their organisations. Pandian brought all these problems to the notice of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and immediately resolved them. These office bearers expressed their gratitude to the Chief Minister and 5T Chairman for this.
5T and Nabin Odisha Chairman Kartik Pandian told them that the Chief Minister is making all out efforts to build a new Odisha, an empowered Odisha. He requested them all to work as partners towards achieving the aspirational Odisha desired by the Chief Minister.
As per their requests, lease premium for land of Bhubaneswar Police Line mosque, capital mosque committee land used for commercial purposes, land Swabhaba Kabi Gangadhar Meher Bhawan in Chandrashekhar Mauza, Bhubaneswar, Odisha Agragami Agharia Samaj land in Chandrashekharpur area, Gond Bhawan land in Chandrashekharpur, Santha Bhimbhoi Mahima Alekh Trust land in Dumuduma area of Bhubaneswar were waived.
Similarly, financial assistance was provided to Odisha Kendupatra Karmachari Sangha and Odisha Kendupatra Karmachari O Tolali Mahasangha; hike in salary of employees, hike in price of Kendu leaf bundle, payment of 50 percent bonus and extension of age limit by 2 years in social security scheme, regularization of employment Nikhila Odisha Gram Rozgar Sevak Sangh after 5 years; and reservation of 30% seats in recruitment by Odisha Sub-ordinate Staff Selection Commission, provision of assistance senior weavers and artisans under Mukhyamantri Baristha Bunakar O Karigara Sahayak Yojana, provision of land for construction of state office of Rajya Hastagruha O Hastashilpa Bikash Unayayan Parishad at Khandagiri, grant of land to Kulta Samaj at Talbania in Puri, provision of special allowances to 108 ambulance drivers and pharmacists, grant of funds for transformation of Sri Baldevjew temple at Kendrapada and assistance for construction of 3 Kalyan Mandaps for Muslim community of Ekamra Bhubaneswar Constituency .
All these issues have been solved under the 5T initiative in a very short time.
