Officials Caught In Vigilance Trap To Face ED Scrutiny

Bhubaneswar: The Enforcement Directorate will grill officials caught in the vigilance trap, according to Director of Vigilance Yeshwant Kumar Jethwa.

On the sidelines of the conference of CVOs of State Departments, Directorates, and PSUs which was organized by Odisha Vigilance at State Vigilance Academy in Bhubaneswar,  Jethwa stated, “We have provided information about 14 engineers and government officials caught in the vigilance net. The data of those caught is shared with various agencies, including critical cases. Agencies like IT and ED receive this data, enabling them to investigate as needed.”

Recently, regular vigilance raids have been conducted in the State. Individuals caught in the vigilance net will also face ED scrutiny. The ED will investigate the source of funds and may summon and question influential persons linked to them.
