One Arrested For Throwing Ink On 5T Secy; Pandian Continues His Mission Unfazed

Puri: Police have arrested one person for allegedly hurling ink at 5T Secretary VK Pandian and Puri Collector Samarth Verma in Satyabadi today.

The accused has been identified as Bhaskar Sahoo, a resident of Haripur village under Kanas block in Satyabadi Assembly segment area of Puri district.

The incident took place while Pandian and Verma were attending an event at Utkalmani Gopabandhu Smruti Mahavidyalaya in Satyabadi locality of Puri district.

Immediately after the splashing of ink police overpowered Sahoo and took him into custody.

However, after the ink attack, an unfazed Pandian went on meeting people and received their grievances while wearing the white shirt sprinkled with ink.
