Bhubaneswar: One person died while several others were injured in two separate mishaps in Dhenkanal and Ganjam districts of Odisha.
One person died while eight others were injured after a pickup van was hit by a tanker on National Highway 16 near Humma in Ganjam district. All injured were rushed to Sub-divisional Hospital, Chatrapur.
Over 20 persons were injured after a bus carrying 40 artists overturned at Jarada Ghati under Parjang police limits in Dhenkanal district. It is said that the driver was drunk.
The bus was on its way from Kankadahada in Dhenkanal to Deogarh. All the injured persons were admitted to Sub-divisional Hospital, Kamakhyanagar.
