Khurda: One person was killed and two others sustained injuries after an air pressure tank exploded at a tyre repairing shop due to excessive pressure on Dadhimachgadia Street under Khurda police limits in Odisha’s Khurda district on Wednesday morning.
The deceased has been identified as Naba Kishore Baral, a tyre mechanic from Kaddiwadi village in the district. The injured are siblings Dev Mansingh and Deepak Mansingh of Chhatrapada village. The injured are undergoing treatment at the Khurda District Headquarters Hospital (DHH).
A team from Khurda Sadar police station has reached the accident spot and launched an investigation into the incident.
