Bhubaneswar: Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee (OPCC) President Bhakta Charan Das has issued an official order urging party leaders to toe the party line. The directive came after several leaders were found sharing views on media and social media platforms that deviated from the party’s stance, damaging its image.
Das has requested all leaders to consult with him or the Chairman of the Media Committee before sharing their opinions. Senior leaders are also encouraged to provide their input on various issues to help the party decide its stand.
“We request all leaders of the party to follow the party-line. Before giving any views, they should consult with the PCC President or Chairman of the Media Committee,” said the order.
It aims to promote cohesion and strengthen the party’s image. As the newly appointed OPCC Chief, Das has emphasized the importance of unity among party leaders, stating that he wants to work together for the welfare and benefit of the people, putting aside all differences.
By issuing this directive, Das hopes to ensure that all leaders are on the same page, promoting a unified and strong Congress party.
