Bhubaneswar: The Orissa High Court has granted conditional permission to self-styled godman Sarathi Baba, also known as Santosh Roul, to visit Barimula in Kendrapara and meet his ailing brother.

The court has allowed him to visit Kendrapara once every two months, but with certain restrictions.

Sarathi Baba is not permitted to visit his ashram or spend the night in Kendrapara. Instead, he can only visit between 5:30 am and 5:30 pm, and the trial court must be informed beforehand. The court has also upheld the restriction on gatherings of more than 200 people, which was a condition of his bail.

Sarathi Baba was arrested for several cases of sexual harassment and was released on bail after spending a few years in jail. He is also banned from holding spiritual discourse programs
