Bhubaneswar: The Orissa High Court today issued a notice to actress Varsha Priyadarshini in the divorce case filed by her husband and Ollywood superstar Anubhav Mohanty.
Based on the petition of Mohanty, the court also directed the family court to submit the case record.
The High Court posted the matter to November 9 for the next hearing.
Earlier, Cuttack Family court had quashed the divorce petition filed by the actor-turned politician. The court also dismissed Varsha’s petition seeking restitution of her conjugal rights.
Anubhav challenged the lower court’s order in the high court.
Initially, Anubhav had filed the divorce case in Patiala House Court in Delhi. Varsha had approached the Supreme Court to transfer the case to Cuttack.
After the top court’s order, the case was shifted to Cuttack family court.
