Participants were trained in scientific harvesting and efficient post-harvest management of mangoes.
Special emphasis was placed on maintaining fruit quality, grading, packaging, cold chain management, and market connectivity. Experts also suggested ways to utilize export opportunities to increase demand for Odisha’s mangoes in the international market.
Speaking about the workshop, ORMAS Additional CEO (Finance) Sanjiv Kumar Singh said the training would help farmers gain proper knowledge on taking their mangoes to foreign markets.
