Over 2.8K Vehicles Scrapped In Odisha In Last 3 Years: Minister

Vehicles Scrapped In Odisha

Bhubaneswar: A total of 2,868 vehicles, ranging from 15 to 20 years old, have been scrapped under the state’s scrap policy over the past three years, Commerce and Transport Minister Bibhuti Bhusan Jena informed the state assembly on Thursday.

In response to a query by Salipur MLA Prasanta Behera, Minister Jena revealed that, according to data from the Metal Scrap Trade Corporation Limited (MSTC), 2,049 government vehicles and 819 private vehicles, aged between 15 and 20 years, have been scrapped under the policy in the last three years.
