Kalahandi: Jayapatna police on Thursday seized an SUV which was allegedly used for the distribution of money among voters of Panchayat polls. According to reports, a group of unidentified persons in the SUV attempted to shove away the police van and later abandoned their vehicle.
Three persons present in the SUV managed to flee with a bag that was reportedly filled with cash. Jaypatna police have registered a case in this connection over poll code violation and seized the vehicle. Further investigation is on, and a manhunt has been launched to apprehend the trio, the police said.
