Sub-Divisional Hospital in Anandapur

Bhubaneswar: A patient died after falling from the top floor of the Sub-Divisional Hospital in Anandapur, Keonjhar district, on Thursday.

The patient was identified as Bijay Sahoo (58), a resident of Kantipal village.

According to reports, Bijay and his wife, Santilata Sahoo, had come to the hospital for his dialysis treatment. While waiting for their turn, Bijay went to use the bathroom. However, instead of going to the restroom, he accidentally went to the top floor. It is believed that he felt weak and faint, which caused him to fall.

The hospital staff quickly assisted him and took him for treatment, but unfortunately, doctors later declared him dead.

Upon receiving the information, Ghasipur police arrived at the spot promptly and initiated an investigation.
