Udayagiri (Kandhamal): In a tragic road accident in G. Udayagiri in Kandhamal district a pedestrian was killed. The deceased has been identified as Anil Kumar Pradhan.
According to reports, Anil was walking towards MMRC Hospital when he was hit from behind by a speeding motorcycle. The impact caused a severe head injury, and he began bleeding profusely. Locals immediately rushed him to the nearby Community Health Centre. However, doctors declared him brought dead.
The motorcyclist, identified as Lulu Pradhan, was also seriously injured in the accident. He was referred to District Headquarters Hospital at Phulbani for further treatment due to the severity of his injuries.
