Plus II Exams Begin Today Under AI Watch: Over 4 Lakh Students To Appear

Bhubaneswar: The annual Plus II examination conducted by the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) is kicking off today across Odisha, with over 4,01,623 students appearing for the exams at 1,357 centres across the state.

This year’s exams are being held under tight security, with question paper hubs being monitored through AI cameras and CCTV systems.

On the first day, science stream students will take their Odia language exam. On February 20, Arts and Commerce stream students will take their Odia language exam. The next day, February 21, Vocational stream students will have BFC-Political Science and Chemistry exams, while Science stream students will take Zoology. On February 24, Science stream students will have their English examination.

The exams will continue till March 25, and the timings are fixed from 10 am to 1 pm. The CHSE has set up a control room to monitor the exams via CCTV cameras.

According to CHSE exam controller Prashant Kumar Parida, action will be taken wherever irregularities are detected.

To curb cheating, 120 central squads have been deployed across the state, and they have already reached their assigned districts.

According to CHSE, there are 1,357 exam centres and 7 sub-centres across the state. To prevent malpractice, 75 zonal squads have been deployed.
