Dhenkanal: A Plus Two student allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself due to poor performance in the examination. Such an incident occurred on the campus of Indira Gandhi Institute of Technology (IGIT), Sarang in Dhenkanal district.
Reportedly, the deceased identified as Abinash Pradhan of DAV Public School, NTPC, Talcher Thermal in Angul district, was staying with family at the official quarters of his father Anand Chandra Pradhan who is a lab assistant at IGIT.
Abinash left a suicide note in which he stated that his parents are not responsible for his death but his conscience forced him to score more than 90% in the examination.
