Bhubaneswar: The Commissionerate Police has arrested two interstate fraudsters for duping people by claiming to be the Chairperson of the National Social Justice for Women Empowerment Commission.

The accused were caught in the Maitrivihar area of Bhubaneswar. They have been identified as Chaudhary Rikka Saini and Maninder Singh, from Haryana, DCP Jagmohan Meena informed at a press meet.

According to DCP Jagmohan Meena, the fraudsters arrived in Bhubaneswar on October 3, stayed in a star hotel, and prepared a master plan to cheat people. They even submitted a fake program letter to the Commissionerate Police requesting a security escort, which raised suspicions.
