Bhubaneswar: A special squad of the Commissionerate Police along with officials of the Food Safety Department busted an adulterated sauce manufacturing unit in the Bhimtangi area of Bhubaneswar.
According to sources, police seized a large quantity of adulterated sauce, colour and raw materials during the raid.
Police have also seized machinery used in the manufacturing of sauce. The unit was allegedly using water from a nullah in the manufacturing of sauce.
Bhubaneswar DCP Prateek Singh was present during the raid. Police have detained the proprietor of the unit for interrogation.
