Bhadrak: The Bhadrak Town Model Police Station seized ten cows on Sunday during an illegal cattle trafficking operation at Sahapur Chhak in the city.
Acting on a tip-off, police intercepted a Bolero vehicle transporting the cattle illegally. Upon spotting the police, the driver fled the scene, leaving the cows behind.
The rescued cows were taken to a cowshed in Maitapur for safekeeping.
A case has been registered and a thorough investigation is underway.
