Police Constable Collapses, Dies On Duty In Sonepur

Bhubaneswar:  In a tragic incident, a police constable died on spot while on duty at Ulunda in Sonepur district.

The deceased police constable is Saroj Pradhan.

As per reports, Pradhan, who was just four years away from retirement, was part of a team deployed to maintain law and order during a protest by SC/ST groups. The protesters were demonstrating against the government and administration. Pradhan was recording the event when he suddenly fell to the ground. He was rushed to the Ulunda Community Health Centre, where he was declared dead by doctors.

The incident has sent shockwaves through the community, and his colleagues are mourning Pradhan’s loss.
