Bhubaneswar: Dharmendra Sahoo, the Zilla Parishad Member of Nimapara died due to asphyxiation, the post-mortem report of the late leader revealed. According to Capital Hospital authorities, Sahoo’s died due to asphyxiation and there was no other injury on his body.
On the other hand, the Commissionerate of Police has intensified its investigation into the matter. On Monday, a 6-member police team visited Sahoo’s house in Sisupalgarh area of the city in connection with the probe to his alleged suicide.
The team was led by Additional DCP, and IIC Cyber Police. The police quizzed Sahoo’s wife and cook in this matter, said sources. Meanwhile, the police have seized the CCTV camera footage, sent two mobile phones of the deceased BJD leader to the forensic laboratory for examination.
