Cuttack: Polling came to halt at nine booths in Pokharigaon gram panchayat under Niali police limits of Cuttack district as some miscreants threw the ballot boxes into water.
Booth rigging was also reported from seven booths. Supporters of a Sarpanch candidate allegedly attacked the voters.
Subsequently, villagers have staged a road blockade at Pokharigaon chowk demanding repolling.
