Bhubaneswar: President Droupadi Murmu will visit Cuttack on Wednesday for the first time after assuming office and grace several programmes in the Silver City. She left Raj Bhawan at 8 am for Cuttack.
She will begin her Cuttack visit by praying at the Cuttack Chandi Temple and then proceed to Madhusudan Das Museum and the birthplace of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose.
Later in the day, she will grace the 75th foundation day of the Orissa High Court at the indoor stadium in Cuttack. After this event, President Murmu will attend the convocation ceremony of National Law University as the chief guest. Besides, she will also attend the annual function of SCB Medical College and Hospital.
The President will return to Raj Bhawan in Bhubaneswar after her engagements in Cuttack.
On Thursday, President Murmu will lay the foundation stone of the Bramhakumari Center Lighthouse Complex at Dasbatia in Bhubaneswar. Later on Thursday evening, she will depart for Delhi on a special Air Force flight.
