Prof Dr Santosh Kumar Mishra Becomes DMET

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has appointed Professor Dr Santosh Kumar Mishra as the Director Medical Education and Training (DMET). He will replace DMET in-charge Saroj Kumar Mishra.

He is presently working as the Dean and Principal of MKCG Medical College and Hospital in Berhampur.

The previous posting of Special Secretary to Government, Health and Family Welfare Department Saroj Mishra as in-charge of DMET, Odisha shall stand terminated from the date when Professor (Dr) Santosh Mishra would take over the charge, read the notification issued by the department.

Dr Sucharita Dash, Superintendent, MKCG Medical College and Hospital, has been given the additional charge of Dean and Principal of MKCG Medical College till further orders.

It is pertinent to mention that the Election Commission of India (ECI) has granted an NOC on the appointment.
