Puri Police Rescue 75 Missing Persons, Reunite Them With Families

Puri: In a commendable effort, Puri Police have traced and rescued 75 missing persons, including 29 minors and 46 adults, in the district from January 2026 to till date. The rescue operations were carried out through coordinated search efforts and technological assistance.

The police used systematic inquiry and coordination with other districts and states to locate the missing individuals, who were safely reunited with their families. Investigations revealed that some children left home due to misunderstandings, while adults moved away for work or personal reasons.

Puri Police have appealed to the public to report any missing persons or suspicious incidents to the nearest police station, emphasizing the importance of public cooperation in such operations. Police can be reached via the emergency helpline number 112.
