Gopal Ballav and Sakala Dhupa (Khechudi Bhoga) will be offered between 8:00 am and 9:00 am, after which Ratha Pratishtha will be conducted at 9:00 am.

The ceremonial Pahandi procession, during which the sibling deities are carried from the sanctum sanctorum to their respective chariots, will begin at 9:30 am and continue until 12:30 pm. Madanmohan Bije is scheduled from 12:30 pm to 1:00 pm.

The Chitalagi ritual will be performed between 1:30 pm and 2:00 pm, while Besha Sesha will continue from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm. The sacred Chhera Pahanra ritual, during which the Gajapati Maharaja ceremonially sweeps the chariots with a golden broom, is scheduled from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm.

This will be followed by Chara Phita and Ghoda Sarathi Lagi between 3:00 pm and 4:00 pm. The pulling of the three chariots from the Shree Jagannath Temple to the Gundicha Temple is scheduled to commence at 4:00 pm.

Lakhs of devotees are expected to converge on the pilgrim town to witness the world-renowned festival. The state government, SJTA and district administration have made extensive security, traffic regulation, crowd management and civic arrangements to ensure the smooth and orderly conduct of the annual yatra.
