Bhubaneswar: The student of a private university in Naraj on outskirts of the Capital City today succumbed to an electric shock while going to celebrate Ganesh Puja.
The student along with four other students were going along with the Ganesh idol towards their institution in an autorickshaw.
The idol came in contact with an 11KV live wire following which the student died on the spot. Four other students who sustained injuries are undergoing treatment at a private hospital.
