Bhubaneswar: The scheduled visit of Rahul Gandhi, Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, to Odisha has been rescheduled. The Congress MP will no longer visit the state on July 9 as initially planned; instead, his visit is now set for July 11.
This update was shared with the media by Bhakta Charan Das, President of the Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee (OPCC).
According to Das, Rahul Gandhi will be accompanied by Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge and All India Congress Committee (AICC) General Secretary K.C. Venugopal. The senior Congress leaders will participate in a “Save Constitution” rally at Baramunda Ground in Bhubaneswar.
Preparations for the event have been finalized following a meeting at the Congress Bhawan, attended by PCC President Das and other senior party leaders.
