Bhubaneswar: To provide more comfortable travel facilities to passengers and to cater to the increased rush of commuters during the upcoming week, Indian Railways to temporarily augment additional coaches in several express trains.
Accordingly, one Sleeper Class coach will be attached to Train No. 12837 Howrah to Puri Express from 20 September to 25 September 2026.
Train No. 18039 Shalimar to Puri Express will also be augmented with one Sleeper Class coach on 20 September 2026.
Similarly, one Third AC coach will be attached to Train No. 18045 Shalimar to Charlapalli Express from 19 September to 25 September 2026.
Train No. 18063 Santragachi to Yelahanka Express will be augmented with one Third AC coach on 24 September 2026.
Further, Train No. 18107 Rourkela to Jagdalpur Express will be augmented with one Sleeper Class coach on 19 and 20 September 2026.
The temporary augmentation of coaches will provide additional berths to passengers travelling on these important routes and help accommodate the growing travel demand during the period.
