Rain And Thunderstorms Likely In 13 Odisha Districts In Next Three Hours: IMD

Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department has issued a yellow warning for 13 Odisha districts warning of likely light to moderate rain, thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds of 30-40 KMPH over the next three hours.

The warning covers districts such as Nabarangapur, Kalahandi, Koraput, Rayagada, Gajapati, Ganjam, Nayagarh, Kandhamal, Boudh, Angul, Sundargarh, Mayurbhanj and Keonjhar.

According to nowcast warning issued by IMD at 1:45 pm, these districts are likely to witness light to moderate rain or thunderstorm, lightning with gusty winds within next three hours.

Residents are advised to monitor weather updates and move to safer places to avoid lightning.
