Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a nowcast warning for light to moderate rain accompanied by lightning and thunder across 16 districts of Odisha in next three hours.
According to the alert issued at 1:30 pm today, light to moderate rainfall with lightning and thunder is likely at one or two places over the districts of Anugol, Sambalpur, Deogada, Nayagada, Malkangiri, Koraput, Nawrangpur, Kalahandi, Raygada, Gaipati, Ganjam, Mayurbhanj, Jharsuguda, Sonepur, Dhenkanal and Boudh during next 3 hours.
Residents in the affected districts have been advised to keep a close watch on the weather and take necessary precautions for their safety.
